Upskilling startup Novatr today announced strategic partnerships with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Autodesk.

The partnership aims to empower the next generation of (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) AEC professionals with essential skills, enhancing their employability and credibility in the rapidly evolving urban development and economic growth landscape.

Why does it matter?

The startup said that the global construction industry is currently facing a staggering annual productivity loss of $1.6 trillion, primarily due to sluggish technology integration and insufficient upskilling.

The partnership focuses on addressing these challenges by offering co-branded certificates upon successful completion of courses. It aims to revolutionize tech upskilling in the AEC sector, providing learners with the competitive edge needed to thrive.

Novatr CEO highlights the importance of partnership

Harkunwar Singh, Co-founder & CEO of Novatr, said, “The collaboration with NSDC and Autodesk marks a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionise tech upskilling in the AEC industry. By providing co-branded certificates from two industry giants, we are not only empowering our learners with cutting-edge skills but are also arming them with the credibility and employability required to thrive in the dynamic AEC job market. Our revamped BIM Professional Program for Architects showcases our commitment to staying ahead in the industry and empowering future leaders for India's growth.”

Delivering outcome-driven skills

The partnership focuses on delivering outcome-driven, industry-relevant, and tech-first skills to bridge education gaps in the AEC industry. The startup aims to empower over 40,000 learners to address the critical skills gap and contribute to solving the high graduate unemployability rate among engineers.

Notably, Its programs, including the updated Building Information Modeling (BIM) Professional Course for Architects, have been approved by NSDC.

This collaboration aims to certify over 40,000 graduates and make mentors and guides eligible to become Autodesk Certified Instructors (ACI) at zero cost.
