In a not-so-unusual incident, Bhavish Aggarwal-led Ola Electric's scooter once again caught fire in front of the company's showroom in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
A video of the incident, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Congress spokesperson Lavanya Ballal Jain, shows the scooter engulfed in flames on a road just outside the Ola showroom as bystanders record the scene.
The incident reportedly took place in the BTM Layout area near Jayadev Hospital.
Jain captioned the post, "Just another fiery day in the life of an Ola scooter owner."

Just a few days ago, Ola Electric claimed that it has resolved 99.1% of the 10,644 consumer complaints received so far.
The company's claim came after the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) sent a show-cause notice issued by the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) on October 7, which cited thousands of unresolved complaints and inadequate resolutions at Ola's service centres.
The authority had given the company 15 days to respond to the notice.
"The CCPA is looking into a large number of complaints about Ola Electric, mainly related to service inefficiencies. We hope the company addresses these concerns promptly and resolves the issues faced by consumers," Nidhi Khare, Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs, said earlier.
"We wish to reiterate that Ola Electric has a robust mechanism to address complaints concerning our vehicles. In fact, we want to emphasize that out of the 10,644 complaints we received from the CCPA, 99.1% were resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer as per Ola Electric's comprehensive redressal mechanism," said Ola Electric's Chief Financial Officer Harish Abhichandani.
Netizens reaction
The video quickly went viral, prompting a wave of comments and humorous takes from netizens. Some users labelled Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal a "scamster," while others referred to the fire as Ola’s "special Diwali feature."
"The person must have bought it for Diwaali celebration. @bhash the scamster is selling substandard products to gullible customers. He should be booked for cheating," a user expressed.
"That was the Diwali bash! No sutli bomb required," another wrote.
