Virtual Auditing Startup OurEye.ai Raises $120K From 100X.VC, Amara Ventures

• The startup will use the funding to enhance its operations, create a sales team, spruce up its office based in Bengaluru.
• It had previously raised $150K in a Seed funding round.

Bengaluru-based automated virtual auditing startup OurEye.ai has raised $120K (or about Rs 88 lakh) in funding from a group of angel investors, including 100X.VC and Amara Ventures.

The startup will use the fresh funding to enhance its platform operations, create a sales tea, and spruce up its office based in Bengaluru.

In August 2020, OurEye.ai first raised $35K in a pre-Seed funding round. Later next month, It had raised $150K in a Seed funding round.

OurEye.ai was part of 100X.VC’s Class-02 startup list in which it had received Rs 25 lakh investment to power its operations.

Founded in August 2020 by Sourav Sanyal, Miran Junaidi, and Saurabh Ghanekar. Bengaluru-based OurEye.ai is an automated virtual auditing solution startup that enables enterprises to deploy a virtual auditor/quality manager through existing surveillance cameras to monitor and produce actionable insights to improve business operations and their scale. 

"It is a sinful waste of data and information that just lies idle until laboriously and manually checked up. But with OurEye’s technology, a business owner, corporation, an organization can actually put its CCTVS to use for quality and compliance purposes," said Minal Desai, Partner at Amara Ventures.

"The scope of the concept cuts across various industries and domains and is endless in principle. Moreover, being hardware agnostic makes it highly and rapidly scalable," she added.

At present, OurEye.ai has 11 different clients that are using their products and services across 17 different outlets, said the startup.

OurEye.ai is headquartered in Bengaluru and currently has a team of 15 employees, according to the startup LinkedIn profile.

The startup was also the platinum sponsor of HackSRM, an online Hackathon event.
