Paisabazaar CEO Naveen Kukreja steps down; Santosh Agarwal becomes the new CEO

PB Fintech, the parent company of Paisabazaar and Policybazaar, has announced a series of leadership changes across its subsidiaries.

Naveen Kukreja, who successfully led Paisabazaar for 11 years, is stepping away from his operational responsibilities as chief executive officer. He will now serve as Group President at PB Fintech and will continue to advise Paisabazaar on its future strategy.

Kukreja remains on Paisabazaar’s board as a non-executive director and is expected to explore new opportunities within the broader PB Fintech group in the coming months.

Santosh Agarwal named new CEO of Paisabazaar

The company’s board has appointed Santosh Agarwal to succeed Kukreja as CEO of Paisabazaar, starting March 1, 2025. Agarwal, who has been with the group since 2011, has a track record of strong performance and was most recently chief business officer for life insurance at Policybazaar.

She will report to Yashish Dahiya, co-founder and group CEO, and will continue to guide the life insurance segment in the near term.

The company emphasized that Agarwal will focus on expanding Paisabazaar’s unsecured and secured lending services, as well as exploring pension and savings products.

CFO transitions at Paisabazaar

Alongside the CEO change, Paisabazaar’s chief financial officer, Vivek Audichya, has resigned from his position effective at the close of business on Feb. 28, 2025, as part of an internal job rotation. Neeraj Tripathi has been named the new CFO from March 1, 2025.

Tripathi, a qualified chartered accountant and company secretary, has more than 12 years of industry experience. He joined Policybazaar in 2014 and previously served as head of taxation and financial reporting.

Policybazaar sees CFO change

Policybazaar’s CFO, Ashutosh Mishra, will step down from his role on March 31, 2025, also as part of an internal job rotation. Taking over on April 1, 2025, will be Audichya, who is moving from Paisabazaar to become Policybazaar’s chief financial officer.

Audichya, a qualified chartered accountant and company secretary with over 20 years of industry experience, has been instrumental in finance operations, tax compliance, treasury management, and auditing across various organizations.

With these new appointments, PB Fintech aims to strengthen its leadership teams at both Paisabazaar and Policybazaar.
