Keto, Protein-based food brand Bajo Foods has raised $2 million (about Rs 16.5 crore) in a new funding round led by Mount Judi Ventures, along with the participation from S Ramadoral and KP Balaraj.
According to the company, the raised capital will be used towards the brand building of its new product ranges, expanding channels to offline retail and hospitals, and bolstering its leadership teams in branding and revenue generation.
Founded in 2019, The Bengaluru-based brand initially started with Keto products and provides low-carb food products – Keto packaged foods and Keto fresh foods. Since then, It has expanded to feature Atta, cookies, mixtures, namkeens, and chocolates.
Bajo Foods claims to have cloud kitchens serving fresh foods in four cities – Gurugram, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. With the help of the franchisee model, It plans to expand its presence in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Chennai.
