The parent company of OYO, Oravel Stays, has introduced its European holiday home brand, DanCenter, to the Indian market.

DanCenter, a Danish brand founded in 1957, was acquired by OYO Vacation Homes in 2019 and has a long history in the holiday rental sector. It manages a diverse portfolio of 12,000 properties across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany.

Debut in North Goa

DanCenter’s first offering in India features newly constructed three-bedroom villas in Siolim, North Goa. Each property aims to provide a private and comfortable stay with convenient services such as a chef on call, housekeeping, booking assistance, local activities, and barbecue on request.

OYO says these high-end villas have been designed to meet the needs of both domestic and international travellers who are looking for a premium experience in one of India’s most popular holiday destinations.

“We are excited to bring DanCenter’s unique vacation home experience to India, starting with Goa—a destination synonymous with leisure and luxury. There is a growing demand for luxury holiday home rentals in India, and we think it is the right time to introduce the DanCenter experience to our guests,” said Aditya Sharma, luxury business head, Oravel Stays.

European expertise meets the Indian market

With more than six decades of experience in Europe, DanCenter hopes to bring its expertise in holiday home management to Indian travellers seeking a blend of comfort and unique local experiences.

OYO adds that DanCenter will continue to focus on newly built properties in India, with plans to ensure high-quality standards and modern amenities.

Arjun Singh Meena, business head of DanCenter India, said: "Indian travellers today seek more than just accommodation; they desire personalised, high-quality experiences in well-managed, luxurious spaces. With our legacy of over six decades in Europe, we bring deep expertise in curating exceptional vacation stays."

Notably, the company is also in advanced discussions with the Provident Group to launch premium serviced apartments in Goa.

This launch marks an important step for OYO as it broadens its global presence and highlights India’s growth potential for vacation rentals.
