Robotics startup Inker Robotics raises $1.2 million in funding led by AHK Ventures

Inker Robotics, a startup under the Kerala Startup Mission, has raised $1.2 million in a pre-series funding round led by AHK Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm.

The startup plans to use the raised capital to enhance its training delivery platform further to develop more engaging content in robotics and emerging technology education.

Founded in 2018 by Rahul Balachandran and Amith Raman, The startup heads research and delivery in robotics and futuristic technology education to create an impact on the next generation by empowering them with education in emerging technologies. 

“We believe that our platform with its immersive and engaging approach is an effective way to teach futuristic technology skills to the young generation. We are thrilled to have the support of our investors as we work to empower the next generation with the skills they need to make them future ready,” said Rahul Balachandran, founder and MD of Inker Robotics on raising the capital.

The startup claims to have a 4,500 sq ft robotics facility with 80 industry professionals. Additionally, the company's R&D engineers have created ALTON, a modular training robot aimed at providing a comprehensive robotics learning experience, touted as the first of its kind.

Inkerlearn, the delivery platform, aims to establish an ecosystem by merging hardware and content, fostering a dynamic community. The platform's flagship product, Inker Robomaker, seeks to inspire scientific curiosity among young learners, by providing an immersive, experiential and application-based learning experience.
