SanchiConnect, YourNest VC launches accelerator

SanchiConnect, a deeptech startup community, in partnership with YourNest Venture Capital, has launched a new accelerator program specifically designed for deeptech hardware and software startups with Core IP.

The program aims to provide selected startups with essential resources, mentorship, and funding to help accelerate their growth.

Providing funding of $500,000 to promising startups

The accelerator will provide upfront funding of $500,000 to 5-8 promising startups.

The program includes an intensive 60-day period focusing on go-to-market strategies and international collaborations. This initiative will conclude with a Demo Day, allowing startups to showcase their innovations to potential investors and stakeholders globally.

Aligning with the goals

The program's launch aligns with SanchiConnect and YourNest Venture Capital's goals to foster technology-led innovation.

Girish Shivani, Executive Director and Fund Manager at YourNest emphasized, "By providing startups with faster funding, we aim to spur their growth and contribute to the advancement of technology-led innovation. We look forward to working closely with the selected startups and accelerating their journey towards success."

Through this program, we aim to provide startups with the necessary resources, mentorship, and funding to accelerate their growth trajectory and make a meaningful impact in their respective industries," said Sunil Shekhawat, CEO of SanchiConnect.

What technologies and sectors does the program focus on?

The accelerator program will focus on a wide array of cutting-edge technologies.

These include artificial intelligence/machine learning, augmented/virtual/mixed reality, autonomous systems, developer tools, electric vehicle/battery/charging systems, electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM), genomics, hardware, industrial IoT, materials technology, quantum computing, robotics, enterprise SaaS, and wearables.

The program is open to startups across various sectors, including agritech, adtech, biotech, consumer/retail, energy, martech, manufacturing, foodtech, green energy, mobility/transportation, spacetech, health tech/medtech, media/entertainment, enterprise tech, and telecom.

Conducting the program in key Indian cities

Applications for the accelerator program will open on May 21 and close on June 9. It will be conducted in five major Indian cities: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, and Delhi.

Roadshows will be held in deeptech hubs such as IIT Bombay (SINE), the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Nasscom, T-Hub, and CSIR–Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). These events will offer startups the opportunity to engage directly with program organizers and mentors.

Participants will benefit from personalized mentorship sessions with successful founders and domain experts. These sessions aim to provide valuable insights and guidance to help startups navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities, thus accelerating their path to success.
