Sanjay Mehta 100X.VC Reveals His First 20 Startups

Investments in startups are the next big thing!

100x VC is a prominent Venture capital firm led by the serial entrepreneur Sanjay Mehta. It was founded in July 2019 and touched the height of receiving 1982 applications. It is sponsored by Mehta Ventures, the Family Office Investment arm of Sanjay Mehta and aims to invest over 200 Crores by the end of next year.

The company plans to invest in over 100 seed-stage startups among which the first 20 was revealed at the VC Pitch Day event in Mumbai on December 7. The startups are qualified on the basis of the Founding Team, Market Size Opportunity, Business Model Strength, Unfair Advantage, Conviction of a minimum 20X returns. The firm seems to have a good combination of sectors such as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), healthcare, consumer tech, agritech, automotive, blockchain, edtech, governance, and fintech.

100X.VC is India's first venture capital firm to invest in early-stage startups using iSafe (India Simple Agreement for Future Equity). An investor makes a cash investment in return for a convertible instrument under iSafe. The company has a program for corporates to make investments through its CVC - Corporate Venture Capital. Reliance Industries' JioGenNext, YourNest, Nexus Ventures Partners, JSW Ventures, etc are some of the venture capital firms that have partnered with 100X.VC.
