Schneider Electric appoints Anshum Jain as the new Vice President of Global Supply Chain in India

Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, announced the appointment of Anshum Jain as the new Vice President of Global Supply Chain in India. 

Jain brings a wealth of experience to this role, tasked with driving significant advancements in Schneider Electric's supply chain operations within the country.

Who is Anshum Jain?

Anshum Jain is an alumnus of NIT Nagpur with a degree in mechanical engineering, further enriched by a Master’s in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Wayne State University.

With a robust career spanning 27 years, Jain has held various leadership roles affecting manufacturing, operations, and supply chain management across several global markets.

Before his new role at Schneider Electric, Jain served as Chief Operating Officer at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, with previous stints at Bosch (India), Cummins (US), MTU Detroit Diesel (US), and Terex (India).

Strategic role and expectations 

In his new capacity, Jain will focus on enhancing Schneider Electric’s supply chain operations and aligning them with global standards to support both domestic and international market growth. His role is crucial as Schneider Electric aims to bolster its logistical frameworks and meet the growing demands of the energy sector.

Upon announcing the appointment, Deepak Sharma, Zone President, MD & CEO of Schneider Electric, Greater India, expressed his enthusiasm for Jain's leadership capabilities.
