The Good Glamm Group is strategically focusing on profitability as it prepares for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the next two years, according to Group Co-founder Priyanka Gill.

The group, which has a significant presence in the content-to-commerce sector, is exploring new revenue avenues and optimizing costs, leveraging its omnichannel strategy and digital capabilities to sustain robust growth rates.

Gill expects high demand in the upcoming festive season

In a conversation with PTI, Gill expressed optimism about the demand in the upcoming festive season, attributing it to strong consumer sentiment and shopping intentions across the company’s diverse product portfolio.

 The company has witnessed a growth rate of over 250% year-on-year on a CAGR basis in recent years, with online sales contributing to as much as 70% of the revenue.

"Profitability has become a key drive for all of us," Gill stated, emphasizing the company’s concerted efforts to enhance revenue through new streams, product launches, and tapping into different consumer bases, all while maintaining a keen eye on costs and the bottom line.

"We've been working really hard on those fronts, and we've been doing our job to target and really hopeful that we'll be able to achieve that," she added.

Achieving profitability

The pursuit of profitability is crucial for the group as it plans for an IPO in the forthcoming two years. "Being a profitable company is the precursor to that," Gill remarked, highlighting that the group’s energies are primarily directed towards achieving this goal.

Founded by Darpan Sanghvi, Priyanka Gill, and Naiyya Saggi, the Good Glamm Group operates a portfolio of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) beauty and personal care brands, supported by a digital ecosystem consisting of content and influencer platforms, as well as community networks.

The group encompasses various divisions including The Good Brands Co, The Good Media Co, The Good Creator Co, and The Good Community, each contributing to the holistic growth of the company.
