Seagate Technology appoints Sameer Bhatia as Senior Regional Director for IMETA region

Seagate Technology has appointed Sameer Bhatia as Senior Regional Director for India, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

In this expanded role, he will guide the company’s business strategy across the IMETA region and focus on deepening Seagate’s ties with customers, channel partners and industry stakeholders.

Bhatia brings over twenty years of experience across data storage, mobility and telecommunications. He joined Seagate in 2015 and has since held key roles, including Director of the Asia Pacific Consumer Business Group and Country Manager for India and SAARC.

As Senior Regional Director, his priority will be to strengthen Seagate’s position in markets where the creation and consumption of data are rising sharply. The growth is being driven by digital transformation efforts, wider AI adoption, and the rapid expansion of cloud and edge infrastructure. Bhatia will work on expanding market presence, developing stronger ecosystem partnerships and helping customers access Seagate’s latest storage technologies with a strong focus on sustainability.
