Sharvari becomes first-ever brand ambassador for Godrej Professional

Godrej Professional has announced Bollywood actor Sharvari as its first-ever brand ambassador, marking a significant milestone for the hair and beauty industry.

The announcement was made at the grand finale of the Godrej Professional Spotlight, a platform dedicated to celebrating hairstylists across India.  

Sharvari, known for her performances in films such as Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa, was selected as the face of Godrej Professional due to her fashion-forward persona and her alignment with the brand’s values of confidence and empowerment. Her influence as a style icon and her connection with millions of fans made her the ideal choice.  

Expressing her excitement, Sharvari said, “It’s an honour to be the first-ever brand ambassador for Godrej Professional. Godrej has been a trusted name in Indian households for over 120 years, and they’ve revolutionized the hair colour category in the country."

Celebrating Hair Artistry

The event also celebrated hairstyling talent on a national stage. Over 300 hairstylists attended the gala event, hosted by actor Karanvir Bohra, which showcased creative hair colour and styling trends for 2025.  

Sharvari turned heads as the showstopper, unveiling the latest hair colour and styling looks curated by Godrej Professional’s top experts, including Creative Director Yianni Tsapatori, National Technical Head Shailesh Moolya, and Technical Ambassador Najeeb-Ur-Rehman.  

Recognizing excellence in hairstyling  

One of the event’s highlights was the announcement of winners from the Godrej Professional Spotlight competition. Out of over 400 entries, 30 finalists displayed their skills in a grand hair show. The winners included:  

1. Bhavin Bavaliya from Rajkot secured First Place with Rs 5 lakh and an opportunity to collaborate with a celebrity.  
2. Priyanka Sinha from Kolkata won Second Place and Rs 2.5 lakh.  
3. Laltlan Kimi from Bengaluru, earning Third Place with Rs 1.5 lakh.  

A distinguished jury panel featuring celebrity hairstylist Yianni Tsapatori, Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) CEO Monica Bahl, and actress Adaa Khan selected the winners.
