Startup Odisha, an initiative by the MSME Department of the Odisha Government, today announced the completion of its inaugural pre-incubation program, which was designed to empower and provide emerging entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to build successful ventures.
"A registration of 62 aspiring entrepreneurs kicked off the program, with 23 of these participants triumphing in the demanding training and mentorship regimen. Nine of these talented individuals presented their innovative ideas, three of whom have been singled out to receive all-encompassing support from Startup Odisha to drive their ventures to greater heights," the organization said in a statement.
Startup Odisha said it has also publicized its strategic partnerships with Technolplat Ltd, Wadhwani Foundation, and Her Money Talks with the aim to enrich the startup ecosystem in Odisha through the introduction of expert knowledge, global networks, and capital access.
Additionally, Startup Odisha also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its partners to encourage knowledge exchange and mentoring programs and pave the way for funding opportunities and international exposure for the chosen startups.
The organization works towards innovation, development, and enhancement of products, processes, and services.
Startup Odisha claims to have cooperated with an extensive range of over 1600 registered startups, with more than 600 of these being led by women.
