Sterlite Power appoints Reshu Madan as CEO, Global Products & Services Business

Sterlite Power, a global developer of power transmission, has appointed Reshu Madan as CEO of its Global Products & Services (GPS) business.

Madan will succeed Manish Agarwal, who has decided to pursue an opportunity outside the company. Effective May 1st, 2024, Madan will report to Pratik Agarwal, Managing Director of Sterlite Power.

Smooth transition to strengthen GPS business

Madan will work closely with Agarwal for a smooth transition as he takes on his new role.

Over 25 years of leadership experience

Madan is a seasoned industry professional with over 25 years of leadership experience across power and infrastructure.

Over the last five years at Sterlite Power, Madan has driven the growth of its power cables vertically. As Director of Commercial & HVDC, he spearheaded key strategic initiatives, including securing the company’s first Statcom project in the infrastructure segment.

Prior to Sterlite Power, Madan held leadership roles at Crompton Greaves and TBEA Energy. He holds a B.E. (Mechanical) degree from Pune University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IMT Ghaziabad.

Madan to accelerate energy transition and decarbonization

Sterlite Power’s Global Products & Services business manufactures and supplies high-performance power conductors, extra-high voltage (EHV), high voltage (HV), and medium voltage (MV) cables, and optical ground wires (OPGW) to over 70 countries.

With four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, the company provides end-to-end integrated cables solutions and specializes in EPC turnkey capabilities. Its specialized EPC vertical provides bespoke solutions for the upgrade, uprate, and fiberization of existing transmission infrastructure projects.
