Indian ecommerce enabler GoKwik has appointed Sharad Gupta as Senior Director, Products, marking a strategic move to bolster its ecommerce capabilities.
With over a decade of experience in the tech and product development sector, Gupta will lead GoKwik’s custom checkout division, aiming to enhance digital shopping experiences across India.
Gupta's prior experience
Gupta brings a wealth of experience in product strategy, particularly from his previous roles at prominent companies such as Swiggy, Dineout, and Paytm.
During his tenure at Swiggy, Gupta played a pivotal role in advancing the food delivery landscape through initiatives including a collaboration with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) that introduced food delivery options for train passengers nationwide.
His experience at Dineout included enhancing customer loyalty and engagement, while at Paytm, he contributed to customer support infrastructure, reinforcing his reputation in consumer-focused product innovation.
Enhancing eCommerce checkout solutions
At GoKwik, Gupta’s role will focus on improving checkout and payment processes, making them simpler and faster for shoppers on multiple eCommerce platforms.
