Rajdeep Panwar
Thyrocare Technologies Limited has appointed Rajdeep Panwar as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), strengthening the diagnostics company’s senior leadership as it looks to deepen customer engagement and scale operations across India.
Panwar brings over two decades of experience in the healthcare and diagnostics sector, with a strong focus on commercial operations, multi-market expansion and large, multi-centre diagnostic management. Over his career, he has been involved in the launch and management of more than 200 diagnostic laboratories and has been part of the founding teams of two healthcare ventures.
Before joining Thyrocare, Panwar served as Director at GHL Pharma & Diagnostics Ltd. (GHL–Medanta), where he played a key role in expanding Medanta Labs across North India.
His earlier roles include leadership positions at Apollo Diagnostics, Johnson & Johnson and Dr. Lal PathLabs. Across these stints, he has worked on commercial strategy, business expansion, technical operations, customer support, process excellence, accreditation and organisational transformation.
In his new role, Panwar will be responsible for the overall P&L of Thyrocare and will lead the company’s commercial functions end to end. His remit will include the franchise and corporate businesses, direct-to-consumer channels, customer relationship management, customer operations, catalogue management and radiology services. He will focus on driving revenue growth, improving customer experience and expanding Thyrocare’s footprint across the country.
“I am excited to join Thyrocare at a pivotal phase of its growth. The company’s mission to make high-quality diagnostics affordable and accessible across India strongly resonates with me,” Panwar said. “With its deep partner network and strong scientific foundation, Thyrocare is well positioned to get closer to patients and drive meaningful impact at scale.”
Rahul Guha, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of API Holdings, said strengthening the leadership team was critical as the business scales. “Having strong commercial leadership is key. Rajdeep brings deep experience in building and expanding diagnostics businesses in India. We believe his leadership will help strengthen our market approach and deepen engagement with customers and partners,” Guha said.
Guha added that Panwar’s appointment, alongside the recent induction of Dr. Kinha as Chief Operating Officer, brings together commercial and operational depth. “In combination with Dr. Kinha, who brings deep operational and quality expertise, the Thyrocare leadership team is best in class and well positioned to win in this growing market,” he said.
