Bengaluru-based data and research platform Tracxn reported flat operating performance in the third quarter of FY26, with revenue remaining largely unchanged and the company slipping into a loss, according to its financial statements.

Revenue from operations declined marginally by 2% year on year to Rs 21 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with Rs 21.4 crore in the same quarter last year. Tracxn generates its entire operating revenue from subscription sales that provide access to its data and software products. It earned an additional Rs 1.57 crore from non-operating sources, taking total income to Rs 22.6 crore.

Tracxn reported a net loss of Rs 81 lakh in the quarter, compared with a profit of Rs 1.42 crore in Q3 FY25. The loss was impacted by exceptional items of Rs 94 lakh related to the statutory implementation of new labour codes.

Employee benefit expenses continued to be the largest cost head, accounting for about 88% of total expenditure. These costs rose to around Rs 20 crore. Overall expenses increased by about 8.6% to Rs 22.8 crore during the quarter.

For the first nine months of FY26, Tracxn’s operating revenue stood at Rs 63.3 crore. The company reported a loss of Rs 5.25 crore for the period, more than 2.6 times higher year on year, largely due to a deferred tax expense of Rs 5.6 crore. Excluding this tax impact, the company remained operationally profitable.
