TVS Capital Funds (TCF) has announced significant promotions within its investment team as part of its strategy to develop in-house talent and expand its capabilities.
Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan has been promoted to the position of Principal, while Suraj Majee has advanced to Vice President.
Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan’s journey to principal
Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan has been instrumental in shaping TVS Capital Funds' financial services investments over the course of her five-year tenure.
Her leadership extended to the establishment of TCF's in-house research team, a strategic initiative that has strengthened the firm's capabilities. Rajalakshmi brings over a decade of experience in equity and debt markets to her role, which has been valuable in guiding the firm’s investment strategies.

Suraj Majee advances to vice president
Suraj Majee, who joined TCF in 2016 as an analyst, has steadily grown within the firm. His contributions have been significant in strengthening TCF’s investments in financial services.
During his tenure, he has been involved in executing 11 investments and has supported multiple exits, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to the firm’s goals.

Krishna Ramachandran, Managing Partner, COO & CFO at TVS Capital Funds, highlighted the firm’s approach to talent development.

Recent hires include Chandrasekar V as Partner for Research from McKinsey and Vijay C. P. as Senior Associate from Bain & Co. for the technology investments team.
