TVS Motor Company, a major player in the global automotive industry, has announced its entry into the European market in partnership with Emil Frey, a century-old leader in automotive distribution.

According to the company's statement, the partnership will enable TCS to leverage Emil Frey's vast distribution network and deep market understanding in Europe.

TVS Motor to introduce two-wheelers in Europe

TVS Motor Company plans to introduce a diverse range of high-performance two-wheelers in Europe, including models like TVS Jupiter 125, TVS NTORQ, TVS Raider, TVS iQube S, TVS X, TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RR 310, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

Emil Frey Group will oversee the distribution of these products in selected European countries, utilizing their extensive sales, marketing, and service networks. This move is part of TVS Motor's broader strategy, as exports currently constitute about 25% of their business.

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting it as a crucial step in their global strategy. He emphasized the values alignment between the two companies and their commitment to sustainable mobility and customer service.

Lorenz Frey-Hilty, Director of Emil Frey Group, also shared his pride in the partnership, praising the blend of heritage and innovation between the two companies and looking forward to the successful introduction of TVS products in Europe.

TVS Motor to launch its products in France

The collaboration is set to kick off in France, where a full range of TVS Motor products, including ICE and EV models, will be available from January 2024.

The initial launch is part of a broader plan to prioritize countries with strong two-wheeler demand and existing Emil Frey infrastructure. The partnership aims to establish a robust distribution network across select EU markets, the company said in a release.
