Indian edtech unicorn Unacademy today announced the appointment of Anurag Tiwari as its National Academic Director for Unacademy Centres.
According to the company's statement, Anurag has over 18 years of experience in the education sector and has a proven track record to his new role. His prowess in educational planning and strategic management, coupled with his comprehensive experience, positions him as a visionary leader.
Previously, Anurag served as the National Academic Director at Aakash Educational Services Limited for 13 years where he spearheaded innovative pedagogies, curriculum development, and educators learning management with a student-centric approach eventually helped lakhs of aspirants achieving their dream of becoming doctors and engineer and that has left an indelible mark on the academic landscape.

According to Unacademy's CEO Gaurav Munjal, Anurag will be responsible for overseeing pedagogy, academic operations, strategies, and outcomes on a national level for Unacademy Centres for IIT JEE, NEET UG, and Foundation.
