Indian home services and solutions platform Urban Company has reported a strong 37% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26). On a like-for-like basis, excluding the impact of KSA deconsolidation, revenue grew 44%, driven by broad-based growth across business segments.

The company’s Core India Services business remained profitable at the Adjusted EBITDA level, while its international operations in the UAE and Singapore achieved breakeven. However, overall profitability was weighed down by losses from Insta Help, a newly launched high-frequency daily cleaning and housekeeping vertical.

Urban Company reported an Adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 35 crore for the quarter, primarily due to a Rs 44 crore loss in Insta Help. Excluding this segment, the firm generated an Adjusted EBITDA profit of Rs 10 crore, or +0.9% of NTV, marking a Rs 15 crore year-on-year improvement.

Consolidated performance

NTV: Up 34% YoY to Rs 1,030 crore (ex-KSA)

Revenue from operations: Up 44% YoY (ex-KSA) to Rs 380 crore

Adjusted EBITDA: Loss of Rs 35 crore (driven by Rs 44 crore loss in Insta Help)

India Consumer Services (ex-Insta Help)

NTV rose 19% YoY to Rs 762 crore, while revenue grew 24% to Rs 262 crore. Adjusted EBITDA stood at Rs 18 crore (2.4% of NTV), down from 3.1% a year earlier, due to higher spending on training, audits, customer acquisition and team expansion, part of long-term growth investments.

Native

The company’s product-led arm, Native, saw rapid expansion with NTV up 164% YoY to Rs 97 crore and revenue rising 179% to Rs 75 crore. The vertical narrowed losses to Rs 9 crore (-9% of NTV), an improvement from -30% a year earlier, led by growth in its water purifier and electronic door lock portfolio.

International markets

NTV grew 73% YoY to Rs 160 crore (ex-KSA), while revenue climbed 66% to Rs 41 crore. The company achieved Adjusted EBITDA breakeven across its UAE and Singapore operations.

Insta Help

Launched earlier this year, Insta Help has emerged as a fast-growing vertical offering daily housekeeping services. In just eight months, it scaled to 468,000 orders in October 2025, despite limited geographical reach.

While customer retention and repeat rates are encouraging, the business remains in its investment phase with an Adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 44 crore in Q2 FY26, reflecting costs tied to supply onboarding, training and network expansion. Urban Company ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of Rs 2,136 crore.
