Urban Harvest, a rapidly growing B2B fresh-produce and food supply company, has announced the acquisition of premium gourmet food brand Cocosutra in a Rs 2.5 crore all-cash deal.
The acquisition strengthens Urban Harvest’s value proposition by expanding its portfolio into high-margin, value-added food products while deepening penetration across its existing restaurant and HoReCa network.
Speaking on the strategic rationale behind the acquisition, the company said that integrating Cocosutra into the Urban Harvest ecosystem will enable it to offer superior- quality, value-added gourmet products at more competitive price points than market alternatives, while leveraging its strong distribution footprint.
Commenting on the acquisition, Sidhantt Suri, Founder & CEO, Urban Harvest & DeliverIt, said, “This acquisition reinforces our commitment to delivering greater value to our restaurant partners. With Cocosutra, we will be able to provide a wider product basket, deeper category penetration, and stronger unit economics — all while maintaining premium quality”
Urban Harvest has already initiated a smooth employee and operational transition process, ensuring continuity across teams and business workflows. The company confirmed that the full integration of Cocosutra into its operating system will be completed within the next two months, alongside ongoing business expansion.
Since the acquisition, Cocosutra’s business has grown three-fold, supported by Urban Harvest’s strengthened supply chain, market access, and operational efficiencies.
Looking ahead, the company projects aggressive growth: Cocosutra is expected to cross Rs 100 crore in revenue within the next 24 months (FY26–FY27).
