Deepwatch opens new GCC in Bengaluru

US-based managed security platform Deepwatch has opened its new office in Bengaluru, marking an important step in its global expansion strategy.

The new facility will operate as a core engineering and technology centre as the company increases its research and development work and builds more AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.

The company’s decision to set up a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru is driven by its aim to access India’s strong pool of software, Agentic AI, and cybersecurity talent.

Deepwatch said the centre is built to speed up platform innovation and product development while continuing to support the delivery models that customers already depend on.

“Our investment in Bengaluru represents more than a new office, it’s a testament to Deepwatch’s commitment to developing exceptional AI-powered solutions for the cyber industry,” said John DiLullo, CEO at Deepwatch.

“Our team in India is transforming the mundane into the marvelous every day. Deepwatch’s Agentic solutions will keep customers safe from the scourge of cybercrimes while improving the efficiency of global SOC operations and the lives of overworked analysts. We’re convinced India is the ideal location to advance this goal,” DiLullo added.

The Bengaluru GCC is designed to support round-the-clock development cycles and improve cross-regional collaboration, which Deepwatch says will help push new product enhancements faster for customers worldwide.

The new office includes modern amenities and collaborative workspaces to support innovation and team productivity. It will also serve as Deepwatch’s regional hub in India as the company strengthens its mix of human expertise and AI-driven insights for cybersecurity operations. Deepwatch plans to scale its India team aggressively in the coming year and is hiring across engineering, cloud operations, and product roles.

“The India GCC represents our strategic commitment to advance cyber resilience at scale. India’s deep pool of cybersecurity talent gives us a unique advantage to accelerate product innovation, strengthen our threat intelligence capabilities, and deliver next-generation managed security outcomes to customers worldwide. This GCC is not just an expansion, it is a catalyst for building the future of intelligent, proactive security from India for the world,” said Prasad Channabasappa, Managing Director, Deepwatch India.

Chief Product Officer Anand Ramanathan said 92% of Deepwatch’s India investment is focused on R&D across engineering, cloud operations, site reliability, and product management.

With the Bengaluru GCC, Deepwatch aims to position India as a hub for AI-powered cybersecurity innovation and build a strong base for global product development.
