US-based VC firm Expert Dojo expands India portfolio with 30+ startup investments

Expert DOJO, a Southern California-based early-stage venture capital firm, has been actively investing in Indian startups since 2019 through its US fund.

Over the years, the firm has backed more than 30 Indian startups, strengthening their access to global capital, mentorship, and market expansion.

By providing funding, strategic guidance, and connections to US-based investors and partners, Expert DOJO has helped Indian entrepreneurs scale their businesses internationally.

Expert DOJO has invested in nearly 300 companies worldwide, providing early-stage funding between $50,000 and $100,000, with follow-on investments of up to $1 million.

In India, the firm has backed startups including Bhive, Cloudworx, Consuma, Mugafi, The Rollnumber, Fudr, Doqfy, etc. focusing on businesses looking to expand beyond domestic markets. 

The firm’s investments in India span diverse high-growth sectors, including consumer tech, artificial intelligence (AI), edtech, fintech, and health tech.

By backing startups in these sectors, the firm has fueled innovation and addressed critical challenges and opportunities in the Indian market. 

While the focus remains on these sectors, there is immense potential to explore untapped areas where Indian startups can leverage global expertise and networks to create impactful solutions.
