Vahan.ai partners with Sunlight Manpower Services to scale AI-led recruitment across India

Vahan.ai, a homegrown AI-powered recruitment platform for blue-collar and gig economy workers, has announced a strategic partnership with Sunlight Manpower Services, a manpower recruitment company.

The company said that the partnership is part of its ongoing effort to build a scalable, technology- led recruitment ecosystem capable of supporting high-volume hiring across gig, logistics, and emerging industrial sectors. As part of this partnership, Vahan.ai will support Sunlight Manpower’s expansion and deeper integration into Vahan.ai’s national hiring network.

Through this partnership, Vahan.ai is extending its AI-powered hiring platform to enable experienced recruitment operators to scale faster, diversify across sectors, and operate with greater efficiency.

By aggregating hiring demand from leading gig, delivery, logistics, and manufacturing employers on a single platform, Vahan.ai allows partners like Sunlight Manpower to access consistent, large-scale demand without relying on fragmented client acquisition.

Sunlight Manpower’s on-ground execution capabilities are expected to complement Vahan.ai’s AI-driven hiring processes. The companies said the partnership will help improve placement speed, recruiter productivity, and workforce availability for employers, while also increasing access to formal jobs for candidates in different regions.

The collaboration also supports Vahan.ai’s Vahan Leader model, under which local recruitment entrepreneurs and agencies are provided AI tools, access to national employers, and performance-linked incentives.

Sunlight Manpower Services currently recruits over 6,000 workers across more than 20 cities and towns in India. Vahan.ai said it has facilitated over 1 million job placements across more than 920 cities, working with employers in sectors such as quick commerce, food delivery, mobility, and warehousing.

Over the past year, Vahan.ai has raised investments from Lemmatree, a Temasek-backed fund, Persol Group, and Khosla Ventures. The company said these investments have been used to strengthen its technology and expand into additional sectors, including manufacturing and industrial employment.
