Vyapar, a business management platform for small enterprises, has fully acquired Suvit, an AI-powered accounting automation startup recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The deal marks a major step in Vyapar’s plan to build a connected digital ecosystem for MSMEs, chartered accountants and tax professionals.
The two companies will now offer a unified platform for business management, automation and compliance.
Vyapar said the acquisition strengthens its goal of bringing simple and intelligent technology to small businesses across the country.
“This acquisition brings us closer to Vyapar’s long-standing vision — to empower every Indian business with simple, intelligent, and accessible technology. Together with Suvit, we are building a connected financial future for MSMEs and tax professionals alike,” said Sumit Agarwal, founder and CEO of Vyapar.
He added that the combined platform aims to reduce the time and effort spent by tax professionals on routine tasks.
“By joining forces with Suvit, we want to equip tax professionals to handle more clients and manage their compliances efficiently. Ensuring to significantly reduce their time and effort,” he said.
Suvit was founded by Ankit Virani and has grown into a trusted automation tool for tax professionals. Its AI-led system automates data entry, GST reconciliation and other pre-accounting work.
It also improves accuracy and offers advanced analytics for better decision-making.
“Suvit was built to simplify compliance for tax professionals,” Virani said. “Joining Vyapar allows us to extend this vision to millions of MSMEs, combining automation and accessibility to deliver an integrated digital experience.”
Following the acquisition, Virani will join Vyapar as business head and lead the next phase of Suvit’s growth. Vyapar said the product may undergo a rebranding in the future to align with its broader ecosystem.
Co-founded in 2016 by Agarwal, Ruqiya Irum and Shubham Agrawal, Vyapar serves mobile and desktop users with software for invoicing, inventory, accounting and compliance.
The company claims to have supported more than one crore MSMEs since its launch.
Suvit, launched in 2022 by Virani and Kalpesh Zalavadiya, claims to serve more than ten thousand practising firms and thirty thousand accountants.
The combined platform will focus on creating end-to-end workflows from invoicing to reconciliation to tax filing. Vyapar is also working on advanced practice-management features to help tax professionals manage multiple clients with greater ease.
