Bengaluru-based Wakefit made a muted debut on Dalal Street on Monday, listing at its IPO issue price on the NSE and marginally below it on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 195 on the NSE and at Rs 194.1 on the BSE.
The Rs 1,289 crore issue had a price band of Rs 185-Rs 195 per share.

Although Wakefit saw a slow start during the first two days of its IPO opening, it was fully subscribed on the final day, with nearly 2.52x subscription, primarily led by QIB and retail investors. Overall, it received 2.33 lakh IPO applications.
The qualified institutional buyers (QIB) segment led the demand with 3.04x subscription, bidding for more than 6 crore shares against 1.98 crore on offer. The retail investor category was subscribed 3.17x, with bids for about 2.09 crore shares against 66 lakh available.
In comparison, the non-institutional investor (NII) category saw a muted response, recording 1.05x subscription.
Wakefit Innovations IPO was a book build issue of Rs 1,288.89 crores. The issue comprised a fresh issue of Rs 377 crore (1.93 crore shares) and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of Rs 912 crore (4.67 crore shares).
Founded in 2016, the company has grown into one of India’s fastest home and furnishings brands to cross Rs 1,000 crore in total income by FY24. It sells mattresses, furniture and furnishings through its own website, its network of COCO stores and online marketplaces.
The company operates five manufacturing units in Bengaluru, Hosur and Sonipat, equipped with automation systems such as robotic arms and roller belts to reduce waste and speed up production. Wakefit reported Rs 724 crore in operating revenue and Rs 35.5 crore in profit for the six months ended September 30, 2025.
How did Wakefit perform on its first day of listing?
While Wakefit's shares listed flat, they touched an intraday high of Rs 203.50 in the afternoon. The stock ended its first trading day at Rs 192.29 on the NSE and Rs 192.30 on the BSE.
