Furthermore, Xiaomi's traveling store will cover a specific route and will stop in crowded places or markets where customers can buy their products.

“With Mi Store on Wheels, our aim is to increase our availability in the far corners of our nation and bring the best in class Mi Store showroom experience in areas that have limited access," said, Muralikrishnan B, COO, Xiaomi India.

"We are proud to pilot this novel initiative with the hopes of bringing a quality shopping experience to all consumers. We are hopeful and confident that MSoW will be a disruptor in changing the dynamics of the retail business in our rural markets," he added.

"Excited to launch "MiStore-on-wheels", an innovative concept that brings retail experience to the heart of India, connecting villages through a moving store," said, Manu Kumar Jain.

Moreover, Xiaomi is one of the first smartphone brands to reach customers directly by their offline stores. The travel store approach will help Xiaomi increasing their brand reach in rural areas where people don't have smartphones.
