Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal becomes Gurugram's second-richest person: Hurun

Foodtech giant Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal is among an exclusive group of 23 people in Gurugram with a net worth exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.

However, despite his impressive fortune of Rs 9,300 crore, Goyal is not the city's richest resident. 

According to the Hurun India Rich List 2024, Nirmal Kumar Minda & family, chairman and managing director of UNO Minda, is the richest person in Gurugram, with a net worth of Rs 30,800 crore (approximately $3.6 billion). 

This not only makes him Gurugram's richest individual but also places him 91st on the list of India’s wealthiest.

Following Goyal in the ranks of Gurugram's richest are Mamaearth co-founders Ghazal and Varun Alagh, with a net worth of Rs 5,900 crore, IndiGo's Jyoti Bhatia at Rs 4,500 crore, and Ravinder Kumar of Gawar Construction, who ranks fifth with Rs 4,300 crore.

Gaurav Bhatnagar of TBO TEK ranks sixth with a net worth of Rs 3,800 crore. He is followed closely by Lalit Agarwal and his family, who are associated with V-Mart Retail, and Iskander A Lalljee of Sud Chemie India, both with a wealth of Rs 3,300 crore. 

Daljit Singh of Amber Enterprises comes next with Rs 2,900 crore, while Rakesh Malhotra & family from Luminous Power Technologies hold Rs 2,800 crore. Paras Healthcare's Dharminder Nagar and Mobikwik co-founders Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku have a net worth of Rs 2,400 crore. 

Urban Company co-founder Abhiraj Singh Bhal has a net worth of Rs 2,200 crore, while Naresh Kumar & family of NKC Projects follow with Rs 2,100 crore. Vijay Kumar Thadani and family from NIIT and Sumant Sinha from ReNew Power, both with Rs 1,600 crore.
