Deepinder Goyal, founder and chief executive officer of food delivery platform Zomato, has reportedly purchased a “super-luxury” apartment in DLF’s The Camellias, one of the National Capital Region’s most coveted residential addresses, for about Rs 52.3 crore.
The apartment, which spans 10,813 square feet and includes five dedicated parking spots, was acquired directly from developer DLF Ltd. in 2022, although the conveyance deed was executed on March 17, 2025. Public records accessed by real estate analytics firm Zapkey show that Goyal paid Rs 3.66 crore in stamp duty.
Located in Gurugram’s upscale DLF Phase 5 enclave, The Camellias is known for commanding some of the highest real estate prices in India. The project has drawn attention for its five-star hotel-like amenities and high-profile resident list. The acquisition adds Goyal to an elite group of homeowners that includes Deep Kalra (MakeMyTrip), Sameer Manchanda (Den Networks), and Ashish Gurnani (Assago Group).
The Zomato founder’s automobile collection includes high-end vehicles such as a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, Aston Martin DB12, Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Lamborghini Urus, among others.
The Camellias has emerged as a recurring fixture in India’s high-end real estate news. In December 2024, Rishi Parti, founder and CEO of Info-X Software Technology, bought a penthouse in the complex for Rs 190 crore. Earlier that year, Smiti Agarwal, director at Wesbok Lifestyle and wife of V Bazaar CMD Hemant Agarwal, purchased an apartment for Rs 95 crore. In one of the most notable transactions from 2023, a resale unit spanning 11,000 sq ft was sold for approximately Rs 114 crore.
