Blinkit, the quick commerce platform owned by Zomato, recently introduced a new feature that allows users to delete orders from their purchase history.

Albinder Dhindsa, who is the co-founder and CEO of Blinkit, announced that more than 1,04,924 orders have already been removed since the option went live last week. He explained that this feature is meant to give customers more privacy, particularly those who do not want certain purchases to show up in their order lists.

How to recover deleted order history?

According to the company, once an order is deleted, there is no way to recover it, and Blinkit’s customer support will not handle any questions about that transaction. If the order was placed by another user, however, the details will remain visible in their account.

This update is one of several additions Blinkit has introduced over the past year. The company launched a service called Bistro for quick food deliveries and unveiled large-order fleets to handle bulk deliveries. It also introduced the Blinkit Seller Hub, which lets sellers add their listings on the platform.

In an effort to offer a variety of services, Blinkit rolled out options for returning items like clothing and footwear and started delivering passport-sized photos at short notice. The platform also expanded its reach into Jammu as part of Zomato’s plan to serve more Tier II cities.

During the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, Blinkit generated Rs 1,156 crore in revenue, which is more than double the Rs 505 crore it earned in the same period last year. Its adjusted EBITDA loss dropped to Rs 8 crore, a marked improvement from Rs 125 crore a year earlier
