Zomato-owned Blinkit to deliver new PS5 Slim in 10 minutes, partners with Sony

Zomato-owned quick-commerce platform Blinkit has partnered with Sony to deliver the newly launched PlayStation 5 Slim edition gaming console in 10 minutes in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. 

Prior to this, Blinkit partnered with Unicorn, a premium Apple reseller, to deliver the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus to customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore within 10 minutes.

How much will PS5 Slim cost?

The PlayStation 5 Slim, renowned for its sleek design and enhanced performance, will be available starting April 5. The disc version is priced at Rs 54,990, and the digital edition is priced at Rs 44,990.

What did Blinkit's CEO say? 

Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, announced the offering in a post on X, emphasizing the convenience and speed of delivery that Blinkit is known for. Notably, the platform will also offer a compatible Sony DualSense Wireless Controller for Rs 5,899.

PS5 Slim specifications

The PlayStation 5 Slim series boasts significant improvements over its predecessor, including a 30% reduction in volume and up to 18% lighter weight for the disc version. It comes with up to 1TB onboard storage and the ability to deliver up to 120 frames per second on 4K resolution displays.

It also supports HDR and Ray Tracing technology, creating more lifelike shadows and reflections in supported games.
