How NeuralGarage leveraging generative AI to make dubbed movies feel authentic

Imagine watching your favourite French movie and feeling disconnected just because the English dubbing didn't match the actors' lip movements.

Everyone feels this like Anjan Banerjee did. Anjan saw this as an opportunity to solve this problem at mass. He teamed up with his IIT Kanpur buddies, Subhabrata Debnath and Subhashish Saha, and media veteran Mandar Natekar and launched NeuralGarage.

The startup's VisualDub uses advanced AI to sync actors' lip and jaw movements with dubbed audio to make people feel like the actors are genuinely speaking the dubbed language.

How does it work?

VisualDub uses algorithms that link human sounds to lip shapes to ensure that when an actor says something in Spanish, their lips move as if they're speaking Tamil or any other language.

With its unique approach, NeuralGarage managed to get prominent customers like Amazon India and Microsoft.
