Rapido launches 'Bike Pink' service in Chennai to empower women captains, riders

Rapido has launched 'Bike Pink' service in Chennai to empower women captains and to create new employment opportunities for them.

The bike taxi aggregator will provide 25 electric bikes to women captains experiencing financial difficulties.

Currently, Rapido has over 100 active female captains in Chennai and aims to onboard more than 500 active captains in the next three months

The new service is expected to enable women to earn between Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000 per day, translating to a monthly income of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000.
