'Someone brought drugs to office,' Zomato tweets and tags police; apologises

Swiggy rival Zomato issued an apology after being criticised for its tweet about banana chips wherein it tagged Gurgaon Police.

"Hello @GurgaonPolice, someone brought drugs to the office," Zomato tweeted.

In reply to this, A Journalist Ravi Handa said Zomato shouldn't tag police for a few likes and retweets.

Following the crticism, Zomato replied, "We've realised it's an irresponsible and unnecessary tweet."
