Uttar Pradesh is set to build India's first AI city in Lucknow, aiming to create a hub for the artificial intelligence ecosystem.
The project, led by UP Electronics Corporation Ltd., will integrate advanced technology, research centres, and educational institutions.
The government is providing 40 acres of land and financial incentives, including capital expenditure support and stamp duty exemption, to attract a real estate developer for this project.
The AI city is part of Uttar Pradesh's goal to become a $1 trillion economy in five years, focusing on IT and ITeS as core sectors.
The city will also feature AI-enabled transport and spaces for top educational institutes, fostering industry-academic collaboration.
