Event tech startup Ticket 9 raises $120K in a seed round

Coimbatore-based event tech startup Ticket 9 has raised $120,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by startup founders and angel investors, including Prabhu Rangarajan, Vijay Pravin Maharajan, Ashok Vardharajan, Sundararaman Ramasamy, Mohan K, JaiKumar, and other angel investors from the US, Singapore, Australia and Bangkok.

The startup plans to use the raised capital to enhance its product development and focus on bolstering the technology stack, team, and market expansion.

Founded by Yazhini Shanmugam and Santhos Premraj, Ticket 9 provides tools to create, manage, promote, and monetise events of any type and size. The startup claims that it currently holds boarding events from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Tamil Nadu.
