Blissclub founder Minu Margeret
The D2C craze continues to grow. Earlier we reported Cava Athleisure is putting together a fresh round from Sharrp Ventures and now another, larger but similar, brand is in midst of a fundraise.
BlissClub, an activewear brand for women, has kicked off talks to raise a new funding round large as $25 million, Indian Startup News (ISN) has heard from sources. The large round comes just as the brand crosses a massive Rs 250 crore revenue threshold in annualised revenue run rate (ARR).
“Over the past weeks, founder and CEO Minu has been meeting with potential investors in Bangalore and the others – associated with the company – are tapping VCs to close a fresh round,” a source told ISN on the condition of anonymity.
BlissClub chose not to reply to ISN’s queries.
The Rs 250 crore annualised revenue is a huge benchmark given BlissClub’s scale last year. The brand closed FY25 with a revenue of Rs 135 crore and incurred a loss of Rs 20 crore, a big improvement from Rs 92 crore revenue and Rs 44 crore losses in FY24.
This will mark BlissClub’s largest funding till date since 2022. The brand has so far raised over $20 million and sits Elevation Capital, Eight Roads Ventures and others on its cap table as per our analysis.
The money will help the brand grow its offline presence by opening more stores. It competes with Cult.fit, Bold fit, Cava and more in the athleisure space.
