Ola Electric has not announced a successor or interim replacement.

Chaturvedi joined Ola Electric in 2022 and was responsible for overseeing the cell division, a critical vertical as the company builds out its battery and cell manufacturing capabilities. The cell business is central to Ola Electric’s vertical integration strategy and its efforts to improve cost structures and long-term margins.

The company has been scaling the use of its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell across select scooter and motorcycle models. As part of this push, Ola Electric recently received government certification under Central Motor Vehicle Rules norms for its Roadster X+ electric motorcycle, which is powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. The certification clears the way for the company to begin deliveries and supports a broader rollout of its in-house cell technology.

Ola Electric has also benefited from government incentives linked to its localisation and manufacturing initiatives. For the financial year ended March 2025, the company secured Rs 366.78 crore under the production linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for automobiles and auto components.
