PUBG Corporation said they have decided to no longer authorize the Tencent for PUBG Mobile in the India region. Also, PUBG Corporation will take all the authorization and responsibilities within the country.

On August 2, the Indian government banned a total of 118 Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile due to the policy violation of the Indian IT act.

It is now considered that the PUBG Mobile may come back to India after PUBG Corporation takes the authorization and all the responsibilities from the Chinese company Tencent for the India region.

PUBG Corporation was actively monitoring the situation around the recent ban on PUBG Mobile and its Lite version in India.

The company is actively engaged in developing and publishing PUBG on multiple platforms, including PUBG MOBILE in select territories, to provide the best player experiences possible.

Earlier this month, PUBG Mobile and its lite version got banned by the Indian government which resulted in Tencent loss of $14 billion in its market value.
