Kerala-based self-drive car rentals platform IndusGo has raised Rs 100 crore in funding from the parent company Indus Motors.
The subsidiary company plans to use the raised capital to scale its vehicles fleet by 1,000 cars in addition to its current fleet of 480 cars. In addition to this, It also plans to employ advanced cutting-edge technology, provide a seamless booking process, and hire additional staff to improve customer service.
IndusGo's business model for car rental is based on self-drive, allowing customers to reserve a vehicle for a few hours, days, or even months through its app or website.
