Study Abroad Platform Leverage Edu launches student accommodation platform Fly Homes

The startup claims that the platform has already successfully completed a pilot in the United Kingdom and has achieved Rs 100 crore work of gross booking value.

Noida-based Leverage Edu, the Global Study Abroad Platform that helps students from India, Nigeria, and Nepal land higher education opportunities abroad, has announced the launch of Fly Homes, a student accommodation platform.

The startup claims that the platform has already successfully completed a pilot in the United Kingdom and has achieved Rs 100 crore work of gross booking value.

Akshay Chaturvedi, Founder & CEO of Leverage Edu & Fly, said, “We are committed to providing the best possible higher education and career services to Indian students going abroad to study. We launched Fly Homes with the singular aim of providing end-to-end solutions to students. We want to make sure that they have access to safe and comfortable accommodation, a part-time job to help with daily expenses as well as access to alumni for guidance. That is why Fly Homes has achieved resounding success.”  

So far, Fly Homes has onboarded 500+ student bodies in their partner universities that help students in getting part-time jobs and internships.

It now plans to expand to other countries in Europe and the US in the next two quarters.

Blume Ventures, Educational Testing Service (ETS), Kaizenvest, DSG Consumer Partners, Ankur Warikoo, 9Unicorns, Kunal Shah, and DSP Mutual Fund are among the investors in Leverage Edu.
