Mumbai-based apparel brand Bewakoof.com, which is known for its unique product designs, has onboarded popular Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao for a new marketing campaign.
The brand believes that synergy between both brands led to roping in Rajkummar Rao for promoting Bewakoof across all digital platforms. It also said Rajkummar Rao appeals to the youth and becomes vehicles for self-expression, the brand said in a statement.
The marketing campaign will see Rajkumar flaunting a range of quirky tees from Bewakoof as he said, “Puraane boring kapdo se banani doors hai, mere dost, thodi bewakoofi zaroori hai.”

Actor Rajkummar Rao is well known for his thought-provoking roles in movies like Newton and Shahid to horror comedies like Stree and Roohi and heart-touching films like Bareilly ki Barfi, he is the most loved actor cutting across demographics and geography, the company said.

Founded in 2012 by Prabhkiran Singh, Currently, the platform has a fan base of 6 million users across its social media platforms and is well known for engaging with customers through topical memes.

The brand claims that it sells 20,000 units of apparels and accessories every day and has 10 million registered customers.
